We are Ya & Ta, two young homeworkers from Ranong in the upper South of Thailand,
We are really happy to be part of this seminar, we are meeting every day new and interesting people with whom we can share our homeworking experience.
For exemple Foong Yee from Malaysia is a basket weaver, she makes them with recycle magazines. Her baskets are very beatiful, we make similar baskets in our community but honestly they aren` t as beatiful as Foong Yee`s one. We asked her some advice, so that when we go back home we can improve our basket`s quality in order to make them more fashionable!!!
We had another inspiration from our friend from Indonesia, he makes
some beatiful arabic inscription on leather, we are from a muslim community, so we have bought some of his samples and when we will be back in our community we can start the production of this new product!!!
Apart from the new inspirations we are really happy because we are meeting new friends from different countries and cultures, honestly at the begining we were a little bit shy because for us is the first time we meet peoples from other countries but after the second day we opened up because the seminar is like a big family!!!
We are already thinking about the next ASEAN seminar, we would like to be part of it, please invite us again!!!
These are exaples of the products we produce, if you are interested you can visit our website www.kclc.or.th

We want to say thanks to all the THAI ASEAN HOME WORK staff for the great job they have done.
Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The concept of this Asean ICT workshop and seminar is unique.
Asean homeworkers go to Global Village outreaching to the theme “One Vision, One Identity, One Community”
This is the great opportunity HOW ICT could help empowering the small homeworkers in Thailand especially for Ranong. It’s catalyst us how can we develop our ICT to our income generating activities especially among all the small homewokers as well as develop our English skill in the same time. Besides, this regional event has created the regional friendship network among all the 10 ASEAN countries.
We are very impressed in the Field Trip we visited in Thailand, Ban Benjarong, The road to Rome is not build in one day, this village shows us the model of hardship, unity of purpose and network. Aunt Urai, Benjarong’s leader said “We build or help ourselves first, then other will support accordingly.”
We learn about how important of the website and what function of the good website from Singaporean colleague.
We learn about how Malaysia friend can help women in eHomeMaker and the alternative way to introduce the Farmstay for Ecotourism. For all the small homewokers who normally known as “nobody” has transformed themselves to be the “somebody” .
We love to follow the Philippines Homenet to do the ICT Theater in our center.
The Indonesian cottage products is exciting for the Muslim market. It's a good opportunity that he representing as an MICT officer and also he has done the homeworkers business.
The unseen ICT information from Myanmar country is sharing among us. The world becomes Flat not round anymore.
The Laos and Cambodia friends are moving ahead for their ICT to promote their homeworkers.
.
The Vietnamese colleague is very keen in ICT even he can't speak English pretty much and that we should thank to Darinka and Francisco, our Italian nice guys who teach us the Multimedia and English lesson.
On the behalf of KCLC, we strive to use ICT as a tool to empowering and catalyst the homeworkers as a role of business incubator and steward environment in Ranong by disseminating the concept of 1. Product Identity 2. Product Innovation 3. Product Story and 4. Environmental Friendly and finally certified by Fair Trade.
